Hey guys, I know I haven't posted on here for awhile, but I am going to make am effort to post almost daily. I used to post on YouTube,  but now I am mainly active on instagram and I just feel like YT is over saturated at this point. It seems as though everyone is doing the same shit as one another and it's just too much for me now. I thought I could post here more in depth reviews of polish and beauty items and even influenster stuff. I hope you guys don't mind and I hope you enjoy some of the nail art I created above and added as a filler for this particular post. I could do tutorials here as well. Clarins Multi-Active Face Cream Review!

5 day Clarins Starter Kit Review!

DISCLAIMER... I received these products free of charge from Influenster for my honest review and testing! All thoughts and opinions are my own and I was not paid for my thoughts on these. :) 

                                                              DAY.............

Above you see the five day starter kit that I received from Clarins and Influenster. I have 5 samples of the day cream and 5 samples of the night cream. This cream is to be applied generously on clean dry skin in the morning. The day cream is white in color and has the consistancy of a normal face moisturizer. It did feel really nice when applied and seemed to absorb into my skin quickly and it left a little bit of a greasy type film behind. It wasn't bad and it did go away after a few hours or so. This moisturizer is supposed to help firm and tighten any wrinkles and make your skin appear younger. It also has SPF too and the scent was a very light floral type. The first day I could actually tell a little bit of a change in my skins texture. I felt like I looked more radiant and my skin appeared to be a tiny amount smoother too. It only looked better as the days went on.

 

NIGHT..........

The night cream is called Multi-Active Nuit and it was the same in every way as the day cream . The difference with the night cream is that it felt to me as though it had a tiny bit of a cooling affect when applied and the scent was much less noticably too. It smelled almost like lavender to me, but just barely. It applied great and was just a tad thicker in feeling, but it made my skin feel and look almost flawless. When I would wake up in the morning, my face was so soft and supple looking and my lines and wrinkles did seem to look less noticable. 

THE VERDICT............................................

I absolutely think that this 2 step system is really great. I think that it did what it claimed and I really enjoyed testing it out as well. The only complaint that I have, is that it did leave my skin looking a little oily and it felt almost like a nicer drugstore brand moisturizer would. I do think that it delivers way more than you would get with a normal moisturizers though. These two creams did deliver on the claims they made and I do recommend them. One more thing that is a negative is.....price. Each jar of moisturizer is right around the mid 50 dollar mark and that's too much in my opinion. I think that you could probably buy these in select department store, but I know you can find them on Clarins website for sure. Sinful Colors Truly, Madly, Sparkly (BLING IT ON) Collection Review!

SINFUL COLORS - TRULY, MADLY, SPARKLY!

Welcome back my lovely friends!! Today I am reviewing the newest collection from Sinful Colors and it's called "Truly, Madly, Sparkly" and on the caps they say "Bling It On"! There are a total of 8 polishes in the collection, but 2 are already existing shades in their core-line. They are called "Palm Breezy" and "Daring" I believe. I only grabbed the 6 limited edition colors and they are all glittery and transforming kinds of shades. I really like these and I found them at Walgreens for $1.99 each! I'm super excited to share these with you all, so let's get into it............

HIT THE DANCE GLOW

 Hit the dance glow is a gorgeous deep pink jelly with tons of iridescent glitter shards that shift from green to blue to purple! The base can be a bit thick and hard to build up to be worn alone, but over a black just makes it pop, or you could do any base color. For the photo below, I have on three coats.

INTERSTELLAR

 Interstellar is basically the same as above, but it has a deep purple/blue jelly base. I also feel like a see some holo glitter in it as well. It will look amazing over black or over a dark shade, but below I did 3 coats! The formula is also on the thicker side.

STARLETT FEVER

 Starlet Fever is a light pink Jelly Base with silver and iridescent glitters throughout the base. This is 100% a topper and I don't recommend trying to build it up on it's own. The formula was pretty nice and I did one coat over a random purple base and then I also show you what it looks like with a matte top coat too. I love the way matte glitter looks.

 

 

SNOW AND TEAL

 Snow and Teal is a light frosty mint green base with silver and iridescent glitter in it. It is sheer but the formula is pretty nice. I have one coat over a random silver metallic polish.

 

 

 

TEAL MIDNIGHT

 Teal Midnight is a teal green tinted jelly base with tons of shredded pieces of iridescent glitter in it. This has a bit of a thicker formula too and needs to be used as a topper. I have one coat of this over a random navy blue base. The first has a glossy top coat and the second picture has a matte top coat. It is stunning as a matte!

JUST GLISTEN

 Just Glisten is the most unique of the bunch, because it drys down to a textured finish. It's a white frosty base with tons of white sandy textured bits through it. This was a wonderful little surprise and it reminds me of snow sparkling in the sun. I love it and the formula was pretty great and took 2-3 coats for full opacity.

 

I totally recommend these, but if I had to pick favorites that you must go get it would have  to be.... 1. Just Glisten 2. Teal Midnight 3. Interstellar. Maybelline Better Skin Foundation Review/First Impressions pt. 1

MAYBELLINE BETTER SKIN FOUNDATION!

 Hello everyone! Today I have a post that is a little different than what I normally do and I hope you still find it helpful. Earlier this week I received the new Maybelline Better Skin Foundation from Influenster to test out. I received this free of charge in exchange for my honest review. I am taking the three week better skin challenge that they've asked us to do to really get the full effect of the foundation. By the end of the three weeks,they say we will see positive results. Maybelline has and will always be one of my favorite brands, so I was very thrilled to receive it. On Maybellines official website, they claim that this will last on the skin all day, Improve your skin every minute it's on, reduce dark spots, reduce fine line, even out skin tone and improve your skin all together appearance in three weeks. It's tailored for every skin type and is supposed to have medium to full coverage. The price I found on the same website was $11.99 retail. Today I am just giving you my first impressions and then next week and the  week after, I will post about the progress. I hope this is helpful and let's take a look at more photos.

This is the bottle I received and it's in the shade 10 Porcelain. I really love that it has a pump and I really like the packaging as well. 

As you can probably see, this shade is a bit too light for my skin tone, but I can work with it. The texture is smooth, creamy and not at all heavy feeling. It blends out pretty well and for me the coverage is light to medium. I would prefer it to be better in that area, but it does stay on the skin all day. I always use a primer though, so that should be your first step as well with any foundation. I also wanted to mention that this foundation comes in 12 different shades. I like it comes in a wider range of colors to choose form, deffinatly a great bonus. 

The picture on the left is a shot of my bare face at the beginning of week one. I know it's not the best shot, but it will do for now. When I post for week two, I will post another photo and we can see if there is any difference in the appearance of my skin. I did find that this product tends to stick to my dry patches and makes it look chalky. I can always moisturize better, so I hope that helps. If I had to grade this on a scale from 1-10 for the first week, I would rate it a 4 or 5 I think. The real deciding factor will be at the three week mark to see if my skin looks better than before. Pure Ice (Juicy Matte Finish) Nail Polish Collection Review!

PURE ICE JUICY MATTE FINISH POLISH!

Hello again friends! Today I have the 6 new Juicy Matte finish polishes that Pure Ice just released last month. You can find Pure Ice at WalMart or WalMart.com only. They cost 1.98 a piece and they have a vast variety of color, texture and finish to choose from. I was browsing through the polish section a few weeks ago and I found a new display for these on an end cap. They had 6 new finishes and that's what I am reviewing today. I think that these are probably Limited Edition, so get them now if you like them. In the photo above I am comparing them to the newer Julie G Candy Shoppe Colors polishes that she released this year. She says that they are a "Jelly Bean" finish and are around 4 bucks a piece. The Pure Ice polishes have the same exact finish, but the colors and formulas are a bit different. I have done a review and comparison much more in depth with swatches on my  youtube channel. All these polishes take a few coats to build up opacity, because in order to have that jelly/candy look, then they have to be more sheer and built up to get the effect. So,  warning to those of you who don't like semi-matte or more see through polishes, then you probably will want to steer clear. These are amazing thought, and I'm excited to share them with you guys, so let's get started.........................

JUICY BLUE

Juicy Blue is a beautiful mid-toned blue and two coats for opacity!  

SQUEEZE ME

Squeeze me is a gorgeous bright mid-toned orange. It took two coats for opacity and was very smooth and easy to apply!

HONEY DEW, HONEY DON'T

I love the name on this one the best, it's so cute and fun! This is a light yellow/green shade and went on super smooth and two coats for opacity as well. 

PUNCH IT UP

Punch it up is pretty self explanatory, it's a punchy pink shade. It's just as amazing as the rest in formula and two coats for opacity as well.

GRAPE CRUSH

Grape crush is just that, a purple/grape shade. This is two coats for full opacity and super great formula. 

TEALICIOUS

Tealicious is a beautiful bright teal color. It is amazing like the rest and it took only two coats for opacity like the rest too. 


MY THOUGHTS.....
I think that Pure Ice hit it out of the park with this collection. Every one of them is super high quality and something new to their range. They are great and yes, I 100% recommend these to you all. Until next time guys, remember.....Stay Polished! :)      

    

 

Sally Hansen Color Xpression (hard as nails xtreme wear) Collection Review!

Sally Hansen Color Xpression Polish Review!

Welcome back everyone! I apologize for my long absence, but my computer has been down and I couldn't access my photos. With that said, I have a pretty long list of collections I will be reviewing very soon. Today I have the new 2015 Sally Hansen hard as nails xtreme wear that they released in a separate collection called Color Xpression! It consists of 8 new shades and I found mine at Walgreens for around 3 bucks a piece. They claim that these new guys here are more opaque and have a better formula and last longer. In my opinion I think that they are more opaque in fewer coats, but the formula is the same. Don't get me wrong though, because these polishes are amazing quality and prob in my top 3 favorite drug store brands. I love these and I recommend them 100%. Let's look at some pictures now, shall we? Let's do this.............

 BARE HUG

This is a lovely sandy nude shade and was opaque in two easy and creamy coats!

DABBLER

 This one is a gorgeous dusty denim blue shade. It was opaque in two coats and the formula was perfect.

ROYAL HUE

I think this shade is a bit more difficult to describe, but to me it looks like a dusty blue periwinkle. You can get this opaque in one coat but I did two. The formula is amazing like the others.

PIN-K POINT

This is a bright bubble gum pink color and a nice easy two coats with a lovely formula! 

ORCHID AROUND

I love this shade and it's the only one that has shimmer through it and it is visible on the nail. It's a beautiful pink/purple orchid color with a silver shimmer. It was two coats and great formula too. 

SUN SPOTS

Here we have a lovely bright sunny yellow with a gorgeous two coat  application. If you have ever seen the old Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow polish, this is an exact dupe for that one. They re did the old mellow yellow and it;s crap. So, if you were trying to find that then you're in luck, because you can go grab one of these. :) 

LA VIDA POLKA

How cute is that name?? :) This one is just a darker version of Pin-K Point and just as amazing in formula too.


GREEN THUMB

Last up, this is a gorgeous vibrant grass green shade and very unique to my collection. This one does want to stain a little bit, so just wear a good base coat!


MY THOUGHT.....

I'm in love and couldn't say enough great things about this entire collection. Not only is the formula amazing, but the price and availability is amazing too. I 100% recommend these and think you should grab a few you like and give em a try and you're not gonna be disappointed! Thanks for checking this out and I'll chat about more in the next polish post! Salon Perfect Neon Pop Nail Polish Review 2015!

SALON PERFECT NEON POP 2015!

Hello again everyone, Today I will be reviewing the newest Salon Perfect Neon Pop Nail polishes. Last year they released 9 neon shades and this year they added 5 more to the collection and I do believe they are all permanent. Salon Perfect is only sold at Wal-Mart and they are about 4 dollars a piece. If you aren't aware, China Glaze and Salon Perfect are made by the same manufacturer, but Salon Perfect is half the price and doesn't have the china clay hardener in them. Since they are made by the same company you can find a lot of China Glaze dupes in the salon perfect collections. I purchased all five new shades to review and let's get started....

 MER-MADE OF MONEY

This is a gorgeous bright seafoam green shade. It's a neon and glows off the nails. The formula was very smooth and needed two coats for full opacity. Since this is a neon, it dries to more of a matte finish so you will need a good top coat!

COPACABANA GIRL

This one is a pinky/coral shade with a very subtle silver shimmer that makes it pop off the nails even more. It also dries matte and I did two coats here. The formula was super good as well.

OH SNAP!

I cannot even describe to you the beauty and brightness of this polish. It's a super super neon darker pink shade and the formula was good. This one did need 3 coats, but I promise you it's worth it. :) It's stunning and screams summer! It dries matte like the others too.

WRAPPED AROUND MY PINK-Y

This polishes is the only one that I think could benefit from a white base. It's a very lovely bright neon bubble gum pink and I had to do about 4 coats for opacity on it's own and that's why I recommend a white base. You don't have to, but it could save time. The formula was nice and it dries down matte.

PURPLE POP!

So, This one is most definitely my favorite of them all. It's a gorgeous bright/neonish purple that grabs everyone's attention. The formula was so good and took two coats to be opaque. It dries matte like the others and will need a good topcoat. I love this one so much!

MY THOUGHTS- I LOVE THEM!!!! Neon polish is just a weakness for me and these one's are amazing. I 100% recommend these to you guys. I hope this was helpful and until next time....STAY POLISHED!
