2015 BELLA VOXBOX from INFLUENSTER REVIEW!

BELLA VOXBOX PRODUCTS REVIEW!

DISCLAIMER-ALL PRODUCTS RECEIVED WERE FREE FOR REVIEW FROM INFLUENSTER.COM AND PARTICIPATING COMPANIES! I DID NOT PAY FOR ANY PRODUCTS REVIEWED TODAY AND I WILL BE GIVING MY HONEST OPINION ON EACH! THANK YOU AND LETS BEGIN!!!!!

As you have probably noticed by this point, this is called the Bella VoxBox from Influenster.com. They sent me this wonderful little pink box full of amazing new products that are to soon be in the drugstore in 2015. You should probably be able to find most, if not all of these things at your local drugstores now. I was so impressed by all the goodies that were sent to me and I just couldn't wait to share them all with you. I have had this box now for about 3 days and I immediately started using these products as soon as I opened the box. Now, I will get into the individual reviews for each item.....Let's do it.........

DOVE FRUIT

Dove Fruit is a whole berry dipped in smooth dove dark chocolate. They come in three verities to choose from....Blueberry(what I have) Cranberry and Cherry and retail for around $1.88-$2.69. When I first saw this I thought that I would hate the taste. To my surprise, I loved them and want more. I am a person that hates dark chocolate, but this kind wasn't bitter and didn't leave a weird aftertaste. My 1 1/2 year old son even loved them. I've already eaten the whole bag and I 100% recommend that you all give them a try.

ECO TOOLS MATTIFYING FINISH BRUSH

This brush is cut to enhance performance and they claim that it will help fine lines, dark circles and oily skin, it retails for $8.99 too. The point if this is that it's supposed to give you a matte look when you apply your powder. They say that the soft bristles distribute the perfect amount of pressed or loose powder for flawless matte coverage all day. I feel like they are making some super bold claims here about this brush and I'm not to sure how well they really hold up though. I have only used this brush twice so far and it is very good quality and the bristles are extra soft. There was no bristles shedding and it did work well with the powder as well. I don't think that it lasts all day, but it may for others. I will still recommend this brush, but just know that some of their claims aren't on point with it's actual performance.

RIMMEL LASTING FINISH LIPSTICK BY KATE MOSS

This is a new lipstick that Kate Moss collaborated with Rimmel London to make. I have one of the new shade here and it's a gorgeous brighter red shade and retails for $5.49. I love the packing and I think that the color is amazing. Rimmel claims that this lipstick will last up to 8 hrs, but I don't think so. I've worn this about three different times now and it comes off within the first hour or as soon as I eat or drink anything. I do  really enjoy this and if you guys try them out, just make sure to throw it in your bag when you leave so you can touch it up here and there. I will still wear mine as well.

RIMMEL SCANDALEYES MASCARA BY KATE MOSS

So this is Kate Moss's first mascara she's created and it retails for about $7.00 at the store. She has teamed up with Rimmel London again and created this really cool looking mascara wand. They call this the broken heart shaped brush and say it gives you voluminous lift to enhance the dramatic lash look. They also say that lashes are plumped and lifted in one clean stroke, no clumps. Well, sadly for me and I'm sure many others, this didn't come through on all the claims made. I just feel like the wand is too big and awkward. I have trouble applying it and it doesn't give me much of anything on the first application. If I build it up a few times it looks good, but it smudges so easy and it doesn't last long at all. It smears under my eyes and smudges on the tops of my eyes. I will give it a few more goes, but for now I'm not too impressed. Sorry!

NOT YOUR MOTHER'S DEJA VU DO STYLE EXTENDER

This product is a hair primer and style extender it's supposed to block dirt and oil and keep the humidity away too. You apply a dime sized amount and run it through from root to tip while hair is still damp after your shower. It is supposed to help prepare you hair for all other products and heat and keep your hair frizz free until your next wash. It is infused with the delicious scent of red apples and berries, which I think smells amazing. :)   This product retails for $9.00 at the store and I don't quite know how I feel about it yet. I've used it a few times and I haven't noticed much difference with my hair, but I'll keep trying it out and report back later. It does have the most amazing scent and texture though. :)

SALLY HANSEN AIRBRUSH LEGS

This is supposed to be makeup for your legs and help cover imperfections for smooth sexy looking legs all day. It retails for $13.99 anywhere that carries Sally Hansen products. They claim that it will not rub off on your clothes and it is lightweight and natural looking. They come in five different shades to match  every skin tone. Sadly, the shade I received is way too dark for my skin tone and I can't try it out. I did rub a little on my hand and it felt pretty good and rubbed in evenly for the most part. I really wish they could've sent me the right shade, but I don't won't to say I like it or I don't until  give it a real shot, we'll see.

***I wanted to say a huge thank you again to Influenster for giving me the opportunity to try all these fun new products. I hope that I helped those of you wanting to know about these items and thank you for checking this out as well.*** Bye Guys!!!!!

JULIE G CANDY SHOPPE COLORS COLLECTION REVIEW!

2015 JULIE G CANDY SHOPPE COLORS!

Hey guys, so I have a super fun review for  you today. I have the brand new Julie G Candy Shoppe Colors Nail polish collection that was just released this spring 2015. I picked up the entire 9 piece collection at a local RiteAid, but you can also purchase them at Jessiesgirl.com. I got mine on sale and it was buy 2 get 1 free. They normally run about $3.00 without a sale, which is a great deal on it's own. Julie says that these have a jelly bean finish and have to be built up with a few layers to get the full effect. They honestly do look like a jelly bean candy on the nails and I love it. I think that these are so fun and I can't wait to show you guys what they look like, Let's do it.......      ****I DID 3 THIN COATS AND A TOPCOAT OF SECHE VITE FOR EACH SWATCH BELOW****

SOUR APPLE

Sour Apple is a gorgeous primary green jelly/cream formula and applied very easily and smoothly. I think it's just so fun, don't you?

LEMON DROP

Lemon Drop is a beautiful yellow jelly/cream and the formula is smooth and easy to apply as well. It looks like a real "lemon drop" candy and I love this one too.

CANDY SHOP

Candy Shop is a medium toned orange and the formula is just as great as the others. It looks juicy and yummy! Love it!

PIXI STICK

Pixi Stick is probably my favorite of them all and has an amazing formula like the others do. It's a vibrant and juicy medium toned pink and I can't get enough of this color.

WILD CHERRY

Wild Cherry, what a fitting name for this one, right? It's so beautiful and formula and application was amazing.

LOLLIPOP

Lollipop is a gorgeous and vibrant purple with red under tones in it. It had a superb formula and application like the rest. I think this is a standout as well.

SOUR GRAPE

Sour Grape is an amazing shade of purple with blue undertones and I love this color so much. The application and formula was just like the rest....amazing!

SWEET TOOTH

Sweet Tooth is a beautiful almost dusty kind of blue shade and it's so pretty. I keep repeating myself, but it's formula and application was perfection. It's just so good!

LICORICE TWIST

Licorice Twist is a soft black with a formula and application that was awesome too. This really does remind me of black licorice. She named it so right. I can't get over the squishy look and love this one too, of course. :)

****MY THOUGHTS- I love the entire collection and I highly recommend these. They are all pretty sheer on that first coat, but it has to be like that in order to get that "jelly bean" finish. I really hope this helped you all and I enjoyed reviewing and playing with these as well. Until next time.....Stay Polished!  :)

2015 New China Glaze Glitters Review!

       NEW CHINA GLAZE GLITTERS!

Hello again, Today I have three of the new China Glaze glitter polishes that they secretly released into their core line this spring, 2015! I purchased these at my local Sally's and they had a promotion where you buy one and get the second half off. I also picked up Grass is Lime greener as my fourth, which will not be posted here today for this review. I am super pumped about these and I think that they have 6 or so out right now, but I'm not 100% for sure. All I know is that I saw these in the display and had never seen or heard of them before. I brought them home and googled them, but nothing came up. Then I posted them to my IG account and found out that they are brand new. This excites me, because I love glitter and anything sparkly. Let's get into the individual polish reviews and I'll tell you more....

1421 PICK ME UP PURPLE

Pick me up purple is a clear base with small purple and holo purple glitters. This thing is jam packed with glitter and completely opaque on its own in two generous coats. The formula is a little on the thicker side, but that's probably because of all the glitter in it and that's why it can be opaque on it's own. It wasn't difficult at all to apply and it's stunning on the nails!

1424 STAR HOPPING

Star hopping is a gorgeous black/blue crelly base with tons of blue micro glitter and micro gold holo glitter too. It is opaque in two coats and the formula was also a bit on the thick side, but not hard to work with. I think that these looks just like the galaxy on your nails. It's just so damn good!!!

1422 COUNTING CARATS

Counting Carats is another clear base polish with small gold glitters and medium sized gold hex glitters. It also has a holographic gold glitter running through it too. This took three thin coats for full opacity and was a little on the thicker side of formula as the others where. It wasn't difficult to apply and it's so amazing and bright and glowing once you get it on the nail. Ugh....it's stunning!

***MY THOUGHTS***

I absolutely love these three polishes that I purchased and very much recommend them to you if you love glitter. For those of you who do not, well, then you probably want to skip on these, but you will be missing out. :) I am so excited to have found these and I will now be going to pick up some more. I really hope that this was helpful and that you enjoyed it. Now RUN and go get you some glitter goodness. I'll see ya all later and until then.....Stay Polished!!!!

RUE21 GEL FX NAIL POLISH REVIEW!

              RUE21 GEL FX POLISHES!

Hello again, I have more polish to review for you from Rue21. Rue21 is one of my favorite places to buy inexpensive and awesome quality nail polish. They are constantly coming out with new, fun and unique shades. I have for of their new Gel FX polishes here and they were 2 for 5 dollars. They has a white one too, but I skipped on that one. I think that these are really good, so let's get started...

PEACH...

This is a beautiful peachy/coral shade and I did two coats for the swatch. The formula was smooth, buttery and dries very shiny.

NEON PINK...

This is a bright medium toned neon pink. This is two smooth and easy coats in the photo.

DARK PURPLE...

This is a dark purple shade, but it has a lot of blue in it too. I guess you could call it a blurple(blue-purplr) to describe it even though I hate using that word. lol! This is opaque in one coat and applied like a dream.

LIGHT PURPLE...

This one is a gorgeous light purple shade and probably my favorite of them all. The formula was silky smooth and two easy coats for full opacity, which can be hard to find with a shade like this one.

***MY THOUGHTS- I love these and I'm not disappointed with a single one. The only thing I can't talk about is how the wear time is for them. I have worn one of these for a day and it held up great, so I hope that helps. I do recommend these and I think they are super nice and do remind me of gel nails. I also did a video about these on my YouTube channel @kristinjohnson and have pictures on my IG @kristinjohnson563. Thanks for hanging out and I hope you enjoyed this review. I'll talk to ya later and remember...Stay Polished! Bye!!***

NICOLE BY O.P.I. COCA COLA COLLECTION POLISH REVIEW!

NICOLE BY O.P.I. COCA COLA POLISHES!

Hey Guys, Today I will be talking to you about the newest release of polishes from Nicole By O.P.I. These are 3 of the six in the collection called The Coca Cola Collection. The 3 that I skipped on were an orange shade(fanta) , a purple shade(fanta) and a blackish burgundy shade(Coke Zero). I found these at Super K-Mart and I believe they cost around 6-7 dollars a piece. I'm really intrigued by these so let's get into the review!

SERIOUSLY CITRUS...

Seriously Citrus is for Sprite and it's a glitter mix in a clear base. The glitters include medium blue, green and light green hex glitters, and each of those in a smaller size and with small white matte hex glitters too. The application was very nice and you're seeing one coat over a seafoam green polish in the swatch photo.

ALWAYS A CLASSIC, COCA COLA...

Always a classic, coca cola is a gorgeous coke red metallic shade. This is the name sake of the collection and of course the polish for the original coke. I did two nice and easy smooth coats for the photo. Doesn't this look like red glass? It's gorgeous and I really like it.

DC LOVER...

DC Lover is the one for Diet Coke and it's a clear base with micro silver glitter and micro red glitter scattered through out. This is my favorite and super easy to apply. It is so densely packed with that glitter that you can get it opaque on it's own or you can use it as a topper. For the swatch I did 3 easy and lovely coats for full opacity.

***MY THOUGHTS- I absolutely love these 3 polishes I chose. I highly recommend these and I think that they are so unique. Even if you don't like these, they are a great collector item for coca cola lovers. I'm happy I have them and I really hope this helped you out if you were thinking about getting any of these. I'm sure the one's I skipped on are just as nice as these are too. My favorite is DC Lover, Because of it's uniqueness and how amazing it is. Thanks for stopping by today and remember...Stay Polished!:)***
